One common thing loved by all Tanzanians over 120 different tribes with unique cultures is nothing better than festivals – be it a massive cultural celebration, traditional barbeque festivals, music & dance, arts, crafts, food, traditional sports, exotic and authentic events like Canal Race, Dhow festival, the farmers Day celebrations, film festivals and of course the Kuchele Utalii Lindi festival that could be my focus in this article based at Lindi Tanzania.
Tanzania offers a wide range of world-class festivals organized in different parts of the country. Each festival brings to the table something unique with great taste. Our festivals vary in style, content, and ambiance, providing something for everyone.

Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival 2022
The Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival is the largest multidisciplinary art and cultural festival in the Southern Region of Tanzania dedicated to the exhibition of art, a traditional dance with drum beating, music, and Panorama.
Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival marks its 2nd year in style since its first edition in 2021, the festival has become the embodiment of memories for individuals, the organization, the nation, films, and the art world. Thanks to Dr. Bora Haule the C.E.O and founder of the Program.
As traditional, Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival 2022 includes some programs which are the 'Women, Children and Village Panorama'. Here is where the festival is focused on games and traditional activities around the community groups.

What's good about this year's festival is that it was able to undertake film and cultural activities at Shuka. There were film screenings on the theme of Tourism in Tanzania so called "The Royal Tour" hosted by Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan the president of Tanzania with the focus to inspire and awaken the society in visibility materials and merchandise.

Despite surviving where others failed, Kuchele Utalii Lindi forged a strong base on which to build. Whatever weakness Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival 2022 might exhibit, we remain proud of it. In a very unique way, I see survival that will never be weakened. Let me introduce you to Lilja Maria Gunnarsson from German who has been appointed the Kuchele Utalii Lindi Ambassador. Alfred Mlonganile a Mass Communicator by Professional and the Chief Editor at Mashujaa FM awarded as The Best Journalist with the best publication on Tourism for the year 2022, the creator of the posters and words as the calling card to the community that sufficiently used to communicate Tourism. Apart from that, the festival asks other Journalists and designers to support cultural events by assisting with promotional activities
Where to Visit at Lindi?
Kuchele Utalii Lindi Festival marks the way heading to several years to come with Cultural celebrations as the result of efforts invested to facilitate the tourism sector at Lindi and Tanzania as well. Not only that, but Shaibu Ndemanga a District Commissioner representing a guest of Honour insisted the Shuka dwellers enroll their children in school as they might use Tourism as the life change opportunity (job opportunity-tour guides, translators, etc.) which seems to be a problem currently. Here are some of the Tourism points to turn up the community development whereas awareness will be implanted;
Kilwa Kisiwani, an authentic historical town in Real South, located about 300km south of Dar es Salaam, Kilwa Kisiwani is the leading historical site in southern Tanzania.
Selous Game Reserve is Africa's largest game reserve and one of the favorite game viewing areas in Africa. Covering 50,000 square kilometers is amongst the largest protected areas in Africa.
Nachingwea Town is a hidden tourist attractive area in Southern Tanzania, notably known for its rich African cultures, colonial history, and the Mozambican liberation struggle for independence.
Liwale Town, named after local Miwale palms, Liwale district is a rich tourist attractive site by its history and cool weather combined with active, thrilling nightlife.
